We group residential concrete work into four tiers by complexity and inspection burden. Each page describes what the work involves and what it normally costs.

Footings, frost walls and foundation walls for homes, additions, garages and accessory structures. Engineered drawings and municipal inspections are normally required.
$22–$55 per sq ft
Commercial
Commercial Concrete
Slabs on grade, paving, curbing and structural flatwork for commercial properties, typically specified to engineering drawings and placed in phases.
$8–$24 per sq ft
Tier 2
Stamped Concrete
Stamped & Decorative Concrete
Integrally colored concrete imprinted with texture mats, released with antiquing agents and sealed. Priced above standard flatwork because of finishing labor.
$14–$30 per sq ft
Pool Decks
Concrete Pool Decks
Slip-resistant deck surfaces around in-ground pools, poured with drainage falls away from the water and finished with broom, texture or exposed aggregate.
$10–$25 per sq ft
Retaining Walls
Concrete Retaining Walls
Poured or block retaining walls with drainage stone, filter fabric and weep provisions. Walls above four feet generally require engineering.
$35–$85 per sq ft
Driveway Replacement

Full tear-out and replacement of a failed driveway, including demolition and disposal of the old surface, sub-base repair, forming, reinforcement and new pour.

New concrete driveways on prepared ground, including sub-base preparation, forming, reinforcement, placement and control joint cutting.
